Perilla is a shrubby plant known as Shiso, which belongs to the mint family. The Perilla plant contains important nutrients such as alpha-linolenic, omega-3 fatty, and omega-6 fatty acids. Regular use of Perilla oil helps reduce oxidative stress and improve cellular function. Rosemary acid in Perilla oil soothes the skin and is believed to be a good remedy for acne.
